Up to the Challenge
Waggies recently partnered with Concord High School’s SourceAmerica Design Challenge team to improve the speed and accuracy of our packaging process. The SourceAmerica Design Challenge is a national engineering competition aimed at creating innovative workplace technology for people with disabilities.
The Raiders designed an electronic scale that provides clear visual feedback to assist Waggies bakers in the packaging process. The result was a significant improvement in the speed and accuracy of Waggies products and most importantly a great boost to the accomplishments of the already-awesome bakers.
